Mary Sugrue McAleer Executive Director Irish American Partnership

Executive Director of The Irish American Partnership, a non-profit charity set up to further education, help promote sustainable economic development and solidify the historic, important and tangible connection between Ireland and the United States. The Partnership encourages Irish Americans to honor their Irish heritage by supporting education, job creation, and community programs in Ireland, North and South.

A native of Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry, educated at the Presentation Convent in Cahersiveen, and then pursued a Degree in Education at Carysfort College in Dublin. After teaching in Dublin for three years, travelled extensively throughout the United States and Australia before settling in Boston.  Joined The Irish American Partnership on March 13, 1989.
