Belfast International Homecoming
Date:
25 September 2025
Time:
6:30 pm
Where:
Titanic Hotel
At our 12th annual Homecoming, we’re putting a firm focus on Belfast as a ‘Safe Harbour’ for business, creativity, and innovation in a turbulent world. Home to one of the world’s most successful peace processes, Befast now finds itself at the heart of both the EU and UK economies post-Brexit — enjoying unrivalled access to both as a special economic zone — while maintaining that priceless bond of friendship with the 70m-strong Irish diaspora.
And we’ll use our ‘Safe Habour’ theme to explore deepening the commercial relationship between our own Belfast Harbour and the port of New York-New Jersey. That conversation will be led by esteemed guests:
Mike Stamatis, CEO Red Hook Terminals of NY and NJ
Major Craig Costello, NJ State Police, Commanding Officer for Port Security
Belfast is also a ‘safe harbour’ for those who want to build and create. So we’re thrilled to roll out the red carpet for Belfast Ambassadors:
Food blogger Diane Morrisey of Connecticut (who boasts 1.7m fans and counting on Instagram) whose grandparents hail from Townsend Street on the peace line and for
Beechmount lass Lisa Walsh, who is co-founder of the Center for Entertainment Arts in Vancouver, Canada
Revered author Louise Kennedy whose breakout novel Trespasses has just been made in a TV mini-series.
Join us soon 25-26 September to learn more about the transformed Belfast.
