Golden Bridges 2025

Date:

13 November 2025

Where:

Babson College, Wellesley, Boston

Join us to deepen the relationship between Northwest Ireland and Boston/Massachusetts when we return to Babson College on 13 November 2025 for the 17th annual Golden Bridges celebration of transatlantic partnerships.

Over the past 17 years, we’re proud to say that many lasting friendships — and many productive transatlantic exchanges — have sprung from our efforts to bring together leaders from both sides of the pond.

Fruitful visits have ranged from the frequent forays of Marty Walsh, former Mayor of Boston and former US Labor Secretary, to Donegal and Derry, to the barnstorming 24-hour-tour of the Northwest in March of this year by Sean O’Brien, President of the 1.3 million-member Teamsters Union and a proud son of Tyrconnell.

There have been changes to format, guest speakers and locations over the past 17 yearsbut perhaps the most rewarding change has been the the decision to move our discussions to Babson College in Wellesley, MA. At the Number One college for entrepreneurship in America and, as asserted by the Wall Street Journal, the number two college in the nation, we have found a commitment to engage coupled with a warm welcome from those outstanding Friends of Ireland Kevin Sullivan and Katherine Craven

We’re delighted therefore to welcome leaders of Irish America — led by veteran conference honorary chairs Eugene O’FlahertyAndrea HaughianLaura HamiltonSean Moynihan and Rob McCarron — to join us again to hear from ambassadors for Counties Derry and Donegal.

Ireland Northwest is the perfect location for businesses to invest and grow. By offering significant cost advantages compared to the rest of Ireland, the UK and most of Western Europe, combined with value-adding benefits, the case for investment is clear and compelling. We believe that Ireland Northwest can be your gateway to growth and success.

So, Save the Date now and we’ll see you at Babson College on Thursday 13 November 2025.
