St Patrick’s Day 2022 will see thousands of runners ‘back for the Craic’ as the SPAR Craic 10k road race returns to the streets of Belfast.
Whilst the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic gave us the chance to ‘go virtual’ globally, we are thrilled to have our runners’ feet back on the street in this annual landmark event.
The St Patrick’s Day race, which this year begins at City Hall and ends at Ormeau Park, is part of wider Belfast City Council efforts to create an all-inclusive celebration of the National Saints’ Day.
Shining a light on the common heritage we all share and now in its seventh year, the SPAR Craic 10k has become a staple St Patrick’s Day event, as traditional as Irish stew and shamrock.
An inclusive, fun event which attracts all levels of runners from across the island and beyond, SPAR Craic 10k is Belfast’s premier urban run. As we take to the road again, we issue the warm, Irish welcome of ‘come along for the Craic’.
Entry fee includes a personalised bib, chip, medal and finish line refreshments.
Our charity partner, Marie Curie will receive a £1 donation from every registration fee.
